Oh, hi!

I value experiences in the home. First Spaces---wombs, homes, schools---and social transactions we experience inside of them inform our personal understanding of assigning, acquiring, and distributing value. Recently, my work has focused on social transactions such as story telling, game playing, gift giving and prayer reciting in the home.

I'm finishing my MFA at Purdue. I am an artist interested in working closely with communities. I work with urban communities through art educational programs at the Indianapolis Art Center. My work is influenced by the work of Kiki Smith, Le Grav, Louise Bourgeois, Maria Alos, Angelbert Metoyer, Squeak Carnwath, Schiele, Klimt, Kathe Kollwitz, Swoon, Inez Storer and Bertram among many others.
